A Cake for Every Occasion
Cakes by Karen Jane was created out of Karen's love for baking and decorating cakes, which started as a hobby making and decorating Birthday, Celebration and Wedding Cakes for family and friends, and I love and enjoy every minute from start to finish.
I have attended and completed various cake design and
decorating courses over the years and still do as I love learning about new ideas.
Being home based means I don’t keep ‘shop hours’ so appointments for consultations are available 7 days a week and in the evenings.
I like to keep everything as personal and individual a service as I can and therefore limit the number of wedding cakes being created per week to ensure every cake gets my full attention.
Some couples have firm ideas of how they want their cake to look. Whilst others just don’t know where to begin. The design for your cake comes from our discussions of likes and dislikes, ideas, themes and colours for your special day. Some bring photographs from magazines or swatches of material. You can browse our gallery to see if anything takes your fancy. All of the designs in our gallery can be altered to suit your needs.
